4) NCAA to monitor tournament refs for betting
This morning, the NCAA announced plans to begin monitoring officials in this year's basketball, baseball, and softball championships to ensure they don’t try to open a sportsbook account or place a bet.
- The org is relying on ProhiBet, which crosschecks data with sports leagues and gambling companies to flag users who shouldn’t be betting.
- Many conferences and schools have already implemented ProhiBet, but this marks the first time it’ll be used to monitor refs at championship events.

5) NBA cancels Atlanta Hawks’ Magic City promotion
Commissioner Adam Silver released a statement Monday saying the NBA has nixed the Hawks’ planned promotion with Magic City, a popular local strip club.
- Multiple NBA players had spoken out against the promotion prior to its cancellation, including Spurs C Luke Kornet and Warriors C Al Horford.
- The March 16 promotion would have featured a limited-edition hoodie for purchase, as well as Magic City’s famous lemon-pepper wings. Atlanta says rapper T.I. will still hold his scheduled halftime performance.

Selling shovels during the gold rush—modernized

Millions of Amazon sellers desperately need review management. Most have no idea what to do when competitors spam fake one-stars or platforms hide their best reviews.
One entrepreneur spent two years cracking Amazon's system and has since helped 600+ brands remove 14,000+ negative reviews. No dev skills, huge team, or backend knowledge required—just pattern recognition and knowing how to file cases that actually get results.
Every week, Make More Money Newsletter discusses similar "shovel-selling" opportunities and how you can capitalize on problems businesses are already paying to solve.
