2) Astros throw combined no-hitter
Houston SP Tatsuya Imai threw 6 hitless innings after walking 3 of 4 batters to start last night’s game, with relievers Steven Okert (1 IP) and Alimber Santa (2 IP) completing the 18th no-hitter in Astros history.
- It was the MLB debut for Santa, 23, who’s the 2nd player ever to pitch in a no-hitter in his 1st appearance.
- Astros pitchers were helped by some stellar defense, including an incredible play by SS Jeremy Peña on a scorching 105.4 MPH grounder.
- It’s the first MLB no-hitter since Shota Imanaga and two Chicago Cubs relievers combined for one in Sept. 2024.

- The Enhanced Games produced one unofficial world record, and came close to breaking several others.
- Enhanced Group, the company behind the games, says ~250K people watched the event live—though its stock opened ~40% lower this morning.
